Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to the grace of God available to us, acknowledged in baptism and a promise to live as a person of faith. Now that children are older and capable of sharing and living as a member, their Confirmation will reaffirm their baptism, but this time it is their choice.
The Confirmation journey has many moving parts. They will learn the traditions of the Methodist church, visit Churches of other faiths and Christian denominations, develop a deeper relationship with parents and a mentor of their choosing, provide service to the Church family and surrounding community, ask questions, learn the stories of the Bible on a deeper level...and they will travel this path with peers and teachers who will become meaningful in your life today and for years to come.
