  • Stephen Ministries

    Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place using the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry at BUMC equips and empowers lay caregivers called to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

  • Home Groups

    Home Groups are a unique opportunity to have a closer relationship with members of your church family whether through book discussions, speakers, service or the design of your groups choice. Our church currently has three home groups  and there are always opportunities to start your own.

  • Grey Eagles

    Meets Third Sunday - 9:30 AM

    The Grey Eagles group of BUMC consists of senior men of the church. They have organized to accomplish the following purposes: to provide fellowship for the older males of the church and strengthen their connections to the church and their personal connections to the beliefs of the church. Also, to provide programs that will enhance their knowledge of the church, the community, social issues, and the entertainment of the group or as will otherwise seem appropriate, to maintain contact and assist senior ment who are ill or disabled, to provide assistance to the church by our prayers, attendance, gifts and service.

    CIRCLE OF HOPE: 2ND THURS - 7 PM

    M&M (MARY & MARTHA): 3RD THURSDAY - 7 PM

    Sarah-Ruth: 3rd Wed - 10 AM

    Bay United Methodist Women support the mission of the church and ministries to women and children globally through our own channels of undesignated giving. We are a varied group of women who meet in Circles on a monthly basis. A Circle meeting can encompass any of the following: a program (with topics including mission studies, book reviews, or women issues), devotions, a short business meeting, and refreshments. This group has several activities each year: Soup Supper, Online Auction, and Christmas Cookie Sale. Membership is open to all women.
