Worship Committee
The Worship Committee works with the pastor in planning and helping to determine the ways we worship and how we can enhance the worship life of our congregation. Members of the committee are involved in planning for special services during the year and work to include members of the congregation in leading these times of worship.
Another aspect of the committee’s responsibility is scheduling persons each week for supportive roles when we come together to worship.
As you arrive at church you are welcomed by the greeters.
If it is a communion Sunday we will partake of the elements prepared the group of communion stewards.
Lay readers assist our pastor in leading our worship.
Please stay with us for the Coffee Fellowship after church.
Other volunteers have contributed special altar arrangements and showcase displays, set up the Advent wreath, lit the candles the Sundays of Advent and Christmas Eve, hosted the Ash Wednesday prayer vigil and communion, and participated in special services during the church year.
Our thanks to all these leaders and the persons they have recruited who have so generously given of their time and gifts of talent. Your participation has enriched the worship experience of the entire congregation.
Each service involves 12—15 volunteers. We hope you will want to share their satisfaction and experience. Please volunteer for what interests you.
