At Bay United Methodist Church our "Youth Programs" are geared for students in grades in 7 to 12. There is so much to do, and so many great students to hang out with. In fact, our Youth have their own newly decorated room with a flat screen TV and a Wii system. We hope you will come and have some fun!
August 10-12, 2012 |
Nehemiah Mission Trip Join us as we serve the residents of inner-city Cleveland. There are many projects we can work on and many ways to serve (including day only or overnight options). The full mission trip departs from Bay UMC at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10th and returns by 7 p.m. on Friday. This is a great way to build relationship with your fellow church family and friends.

Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser If you plan to go on a mission trip with ASP or Nehemiah House, serving at the fundraising events will help reduce your cost. Pumpkin sales take place each fall.

Leaf Raking Every fall we begin our community service by enjoying lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Following lunch our youth depart to several homes in our own comminty to help rake leaves. Mission points will be awarded to those attending ASP or Nehemiah Mission.
If you're planning on helping, be sure to complete an updated Permission Slip for this event !

Soup Sale Fundraiser Help support summer missions by participating in our Soup Sale. Bring your crock pot full of soup to the church and earn mission points toward your ASP or Nehemiah Mission trip.
Setup begins at 8:00 a.m. Sales from 9:00-10:00 and 11:00-12:00.

Graduation Sunday On this day we recognize all of our graduates, especially our high school graduates. They will receive several of Rev. Bill's unusual gifts as they hear his special "Message."

YAC: Youth Annual Conference Each summer our youth have the opportunity to spend two nights at Lakeside on the Beach, (usually in June). This is a regional gathering of Methodist Youth, and a great experience for all.

Village Food Project Join others to learn how to cook and prepare food for people undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The Village Food Projects is hosted by Bay Presbyterian Church and welcomes all youth volunteers that reside in Bay Village.
