Welcome to Bay United Methodist Women. We would like to invite you to join us. We are a varied group of women at the church who meet in circles on a monthly basis. A circle meeting encompasses all of the following: refreshments, a short business meeting, devotions, a variety of programs with topics including mission, book studies, women’s issues, and other fun ideas. We currently have 2 circles:
Lydia meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the parlor.
Sarah Ruth meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor.
We also have several members-at-large. These are people who do not actively participate in a circle, but want to remain a member and participate when the can.
UMW’s focus is on mission. We have several activities each year that allow all of us to join together. We also have several projects each year to help us meet our budget. (Soup Supper, Nearly New Sales, Cookie Sale) Most of our projects support mission work abroad and locally, including programs in our church.
Why don’t you consider joining us? There are no commitments expected. You are welcome at whatever level you are able to participate. Feel free to call the Chairperson of either circle if you have any questions.
