Children's Program Information
Your child is welcome at Bay United Methodist Church! We offer a safe
and sacred place for your child to grow and discover their relationship with God.
2011 Fall Programs
Nursery Room Program
9:45 - 11:15 a.m.
The nursery is available for newborn babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age. You may safely leave your children with one of our two nursery staff while you worship. Your child may play, hear a Bible story, color, and enjoy the company of other children their own age. If an issue arises, such as prolonged crying, diaper changing, a bathroom trip, or any potential need for Mom or Dad, you will be contacted through the use of your cell phone, (set to vibrate, please). You can worship with confidence that you will be called when no one but Mom or Dad are the perfect solution. The nursery room is open from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m.
Family Worship Service
10:00 a.m.
This fall we are moving Sunday School to 10:15 a.m. to allow families to worship together before students move to their Sunday School classrooms. These 15 minutes of worship will be specifically geared toward younger worshipers including simple liturgies, child-friendly prayers, and music from the Sunday School curriculum. Please join us for year of learning, growing and worship!
Children's Sunday School Program
10:15 - 11:15 a.m.
This fall our Sunday School children will be focusing on the wonder of relationships. They will learn what it means to be in relationship with God, with others at church, and with all of creation.
This winter in Sunday School our children will explore the power of "story" in our faith lives. Children will be learning how to tell their own faith stories as they journey through Bible stories. Sunday School classes will host special guests from our congregation as they share stories from their lives and this congregation, as well. If you'd like to be one of our special guests, contact Carrie (below).
Anytime a child brings a friend to Sunday School, both children receive a welcome/thank you gift. |

Special Events
| Throughout the year we host fun-filled opportunities for our children to be entertained, and for parents to fellowship with each other. These events are usually focused around the Christian holidays, and include our Family Fun Patch (an autumn family event), the Advent Mission Festival, an Easter Egg Hunt, and more! |  |
