Appalachian Service Project 2012

June 10-16, 2012

 

The 2012 Appalachian Service Project Team has over 75 people attending this year. Other local churches joining us this year include Christ Lutheran Church in Avon Lake, St. Raphael's and Bay Presbyterian. Please pray for us as we prepare for this great mission trip.

  • On Monday, November 14th at 6:00 p.m. there will be an adult/parent meeting for all interested in going to ASP.
  • Deposits for our ASP Mission trip are due to secure your reservation!! Please complete the Reservation Form above and deliver to Anna Magill with your $50.00 check made payable to Bay UMC. If you cannot attend, it is your responsibility to find someone else to go in your place, or you will owe the remainder of the ASP deposit for the trip ($260).
  • Background checks are due for any adult who has not had one with the past 3 years. Please contact Anna if you need a background check. It is an easy process and Bay UMC will cover the cost.
  • Groups are limited to 2 adults per team, 1 college student, and maximum of 7 people.

2011 ASP Trip Highlights...

In June of 2011, 48 of our Bay UMC youth and parents headed to Tennessee to work on the Appalachian Service Project. This group included students and parents from Bay UMC and Christ Evengelical Lutheran Church in Avon Lake. The photos below show how this year's team of volunteers were able to become closer to God by serving others in need.
